We’ve been building virtual worlds for 10 years. We built the Dubit Platform because we found ourselves creating the same features for every virtual world and not having enough time to spend on the fun stuff – games, quests, adventures, and narrative.

The beta includes access to the GAML Editor for designing rooms and quests and the basic flex components. Get in touch to learn more about the avatar creations, shops, payment gateways, and other advanced features. Help us build the best virtual world platform by telling us what you think, what you need, or whats not working yet!

All new worlds begin as a project in the Platform Editor. Watch how Tom creates a new project and builds a new room, uses lighting effects, sounds, and defines the walk area. From here you can go on to create quests, attach triggers to objects in the world, and build out your first world in a matter of hours.

Now you’ve created your first world share it through the World Hub. Watch how Tom’s single player world becomes automagically multiplayer when he uploads it to the World Hub. Chat, explore, and interact in a multiplayer environment. Get in touch to find out about hosting costs for your private domain name.

The Platform has over 20 core components, including contact lists, inventories, quests, and shops. Watch how Tom sets up a new Flex project, checks out the Platform code, and customizes the Map component. Access to source code coming soon.

We decided to make our own language, GAML. One that would be designed, from the ground up, to make virtual worlds, and because our language only has to do one thing, we’ve been able to make the language really really simple. Simple enough for non-programmers to learn in a couple of hours.Get in touch for training or bespoke development services.

We’re adding new tutorials all the time. Subscribe for updates and new releases.
